Giving Back in 2025: How Beehive Broadband is Supporting the Communities We Serve

At Beehive Broadband, we believe our mission goes far beyond delivering fast, reliable fiber internet. While we take great pride in helping homes and businesses stay connected, one of the most important things we do is show up for the communities that support us. Whether it’s funding scholarships, sponsoring local teams, or participating in community events, we’re committed to being more than just an internet provider—we’re a neighbor, a partner and a proud supporter of the places we call home.

Here’s a look at some of the community initiatives we’ve been honored to take part in so far in 2025.

Empowering the Next Generation Through Scholarships

Education is one of the strongest investments we can make in the future, which is why we’re passionate about supporting students through scholarship programs.

This year, Beehive Broadband awarded five outstanding high school students from Tooele Valley with $1,000 each through the Arthur Brothers Memorial Scholarship, started in honor of our founder, Art Brothers. These scholarships recognize academic excellence, community involvement and a drive to pursue higher education—values we hold dear at Beehive. With a total of $5,000 awarded, we’re proud to help these future leaders take their next big step.

Our support for students doesn’t stop at Utah’s borders. As an active member of the Nevada Telecommunications Association (NTA), our annual dues, fundraising efforts and event participation contribute to NTA’s statewide scholarship program. This initiative helps fund college scholarships for bright young minds across Nevada, making higher education more accessible for students pursuing careers in technology, communication and more.

Backing Local Talent and Teams

At Beehive, we’re proud to support the athletes, performers, and teams that bring energy and spirit to our communities.

We’re honored to sponsor Stephen Schumann, an Olympic Nordic Combined skier who’s pushing toward the 2026 Winter Games. Stephen’s grit and determination embody everything we stand for at Beehive—resilience, passion, and excellence. Our logo on his skis represents more than sponsorship; it’s a symbol of our belief in people who work hard to achieve great things.

On the local level, we’ve also stepped up as a Gold Sponsor of the Stansbury High School Drill Team, supporting these talented young women as they represent their school with pride and determination. Likewise, we’re proud sponsors of the Lehi High School Football and Baseball programs, helping ensure student-athletes have the resources they need to train, compete, and succeed both on and off the field.

Golfing for Good

We never turn down a chance to hit the green, especially when it’s for a great cause.

This year, Beehive Broadband was a hole sponsor and fielded two teams in the Tooele County Chamber Golf Tournament, supporting local businesses and community development efforts.

We also had the opportunity to sponsor the Tooele Children’s Justice Center Golf Tournament as a lunch sponsor while entering a team into the tournament as well. Events like these are a fantastic way to give back while connecting with others who care about the same causes we do.

Celebrating Community Through Events

Our favorite part of being involved in the community? Showing up and celebrating with you.

This year, we were thrilled to sponsor some of the most beloved local events, including Lake Point Days, Erda Days, the Lehi Round-Up Celebration, the Golden Spike Rodeo and the Morgan County Fair. These gatherings bring families, friends, and neighbors together and give us a chance to say hello, answer questions, and share our appreciation for the communities we serve.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to be sponsoring the Goshute Annual Pow Wow Celebration in Ibapah as well as the Mantua Little Valley Days Fireworks Show—a spectacular summer celebration that brings the entire town together under the night sky. We can’t wait to be part of the magic again.

Why We Do It

At Beehive Broadband, we often say we’re more than a service provider—we’re a part of the communities we serve. From supporting student scholarships and local teams to sponsoring events that make small towns shine, we consider giving back one of the most meaningful things we do.

These aren’t just sponsorships or donations—they’re investments in people, passion, and progress. They’re about creating opportunities, building connections, and strengthening the places we call home.

Thank you to all the communities, schools, organizations, and individuals who have invited us to be a part of something special in 2025. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.
