Area Code 775 Changes - March 17, 2021
Did you know that the FCC has adopted 988 as the new three-digit number to be used nationwide to reach the National Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Crisis Lifeline, starting July 16, 2022?
That does mean that Beehive Broadband customers in Nevada should begin to use 10-digit phone numbers (area code + telephone number) for local calls beginning April 24, 2021. Seven-digit calls will still go through until October 24, 2021. After that date, customers must use all 10 digits to complete a phone call.
All of the customers affected by this change have been notified with an insert that came with your monthly bill.
