Beehive Broadband Fiber Internet is coming to the Cedar Highlands Community!

CEDAR HIGHLANDS AREA

Beehive Broadband is extremely excited to announce that construction on our Fiber expansion project in your beautiful mountain community has begun! This will be an ongoing effort for the next several months that will result in Beehive being able to provide High Speed Fiber Internet, TV, and Phone Services to the homes in your community! Please complete and submit the Drop Construction Consent Form. This form gives our contractors permission to bring conduit and fiber from the street to your home. Submitting it now, while our contractors are in the area, can save you time and money if you choose Beehive Fiber Internet service in the future.

PROJECT STATUS

This project will consist of a handful of phases, currently in Phase 1

Phase 1: Main line construction to help expand our service throughout the community. This work will be completed within public easements and near the main roads throughout the area. It is anticipated that this process will take approximately 3 – 5 months to complete.

Phase 2: is to complete construction drops from the main line in the road to serviceable homes. With cooperation from you, this phase can often overlap with Phase 1. It is anticipated that this process will take approximately 3 – 4 months.

Phase 3: is to pull fiber through conduit placed in phases 1 and 2 and prepare it for splicing and active service.

Phase 4: is to complete fiber splicing and bring active service through the community.

Phase 5: is to install Fiber service to residents.

UPDATES

Beehive has hired expert contractors to help with this process. Glass Roots is the main construction company who will be overseeing Phases 1 – 4. Rocky Mountain Western Telecom (RMWT) is the Engineering company who will be assisting through the entire process. Both our partners have representatives on the ground who are actively working on making sure that this project runs smoothly. If Phases 1- 4 go well, Beehive anticipates starting on Phase 5 with installing service to homes in the late Spring and Early Summer of 2026.

Upon completion of this project, Beehive’s Fiber Internet, BEEtv, and Home Phone services will be available to all serviceable locations!
